Check model-year compatibility
GlobalBYD currently lists a BYD Seal Wing Mirror Cover (2 pcs). Its listing references 2022–2023 compatibility, so owners of later vehicles should not assume fit. Compare mirror housing shape and confirm compatibility before ordering.
Prepare the surface properly
Wash away grit, dry the housing and remove wax or oily residue from the bonding area. Test-fit both pieces before exposing adhesive. Never force a trim piece that sits proud or contacts the mirror glass.
Post-install checks
- Fold and unfold mirrors while parked.
- Confirm full mirror-glass adjustment.
- Verify any camera or indicator remains unobstructed.
- Inspect adhesive edges after the first few drives and after washing.
