Good interior cleaning is less about aggressive chemicals and more about removing abrasive debris before it gets rubbed into surfaces.
Start dry
Vacuum loose dirt and use a soft detailing brush around seams and vents. GlobalBYD currently lists a soft car detailing brush and a rechargeable car vacuum, both tagged for SEAL.
Use surface-appropriate products
Test any cleaner on an inconspicuous area and follow the vehicle-care guidance and cleaner manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid saturating switches, ports, displays or seams.
Remove organizers periodically
Accessories can trap crumbs underneath. Lift removable trays, clean both the tray and original surface, then reinstall without forcing. See our center console organizer guide.
